I flipped off of my bike today. I hit my head pretty hard. Now, I feel really crappy and I want to go to bed. Is it a concussion?

I don't think so. I think you have the equivalent of whiplash, where you pull muscles tight and they are locked there. To unlock them you have to take a small group of muscles in your hand on the side that is giving you pain, squeeze them and hold for twenty seconds, then slowly rotate you head to it's fullest extension and hold for ten seconds. You will have to do this several times, the neck is loaded with muscles. The other problem is that some of the muscles you look up for the extension and others you look down for the extension. This is the very basic of what I have figured out for the body but which should help you a lot.

Possibly

signs of a concussion is nausea, dizziness, fatigue and headaches.

Call your doctor get checked out now! Before it gets worse most people who have hit their heads refuse to get check out because they feel have nothing but a bump on the head but what makes a concussion serious is not the impact but delaying treatment and examination. So get checked out! Can't stress it enough
