A couple of weeks ago my cousin told me his ps3 had the yellow light of death, and I could have it to try and fix it because he was buying a new one. So I took it apart(using a guide), did a reflow on the motherboard and replaced the thermal compound. Anyway, it now no longer has ylod(it has the green and blue lights like it should) but the fan is really loud and I can't get it to show up on the tv screen. I think I've got it set up correctly but could it be something I've done wrong while taking it apart?
I have the power plug and the scarp? plug plugged in but is there something I've forgotten about? I used akasa 450 thermal if thats of any use and I cleaned all dust from the fan so I'm not sure why its so loud. As you can see, I'm not much of an expert at this but any help would be appreciated...
