So i went biking and I fell really hard. I have two scabs on my palms - both look really dirty. I have a scab on my left knee and its big but it doesnt hurt that much. I have small scratches on my chin and stomach. I have tried everything but they still hurt alot. How can I make the wound go away faster?

I used to do freestyle BMX. So I would get hurt a lot on my bike too.

What I would do is first take a wash clothe rub the wound with rubbing alcohol(yes it's more effective than peroxide). I would clean the wound very thoroughly to get the dirt and rock out by scrubbing with the wash cloth. I did this so it wouldn't get infected when it heals. I would then take neosporin and place it on the wound after I was done cleaning and place a band aid on it or in some cases a guaze.

Yes it will burn and can be painful, but if you can take hit like you did then you should be able to take a mild sting.

Also I know that chicks are worried about scars, so I would also maybe start placing some Mederma or something on it(after the wound is closed but while the scar is still fresh(more effective on recent scars)).

I fell over playing badminton (the roof was leaking after a big rain and I slipped on a puddle, badminton players know even feathers can make you slip). Anyway, I tripped and got court burn. I had a massive scab, the size of a 50c piece and I read on the internet used salt water to get rid of it.

DO NOT PICK AT IT.

I now have a permanent scar because I tried to get rid of the scab early.

Whatever you do, just leave them. Drink plenty of water and eat fruits and vegetables to help your body keep up nurtients and help re build the skin.

Just think, an ugly scab for a week or a scar for your life?

Don't make the stupid mistake I made!
