i was fixed by shoe cleats.? i had severe pain in the hip area but could still walk (with great difficulty and pain),i could lift my leg up and push it back no problem but moving my left leg to the side and away from the body was real painful and impossible and placing my body weight onto my left side while walking also very painful. A&E x-ray showed no fracture and the word was- rest for min 10 days. it is day 7 and there is significant improvement in all areas but still far from 100%. When should i start the stretching and/or strengthening exercises? my online research was ok as in types of exercises but when to start them is still unknown (i plan to hit the swimming pool in 3days time-i used to race for a swimming club and know that swimming will help mobilize the whole thing but again not sure when to start). please HELP !!!! and sorry to write in great detail.
oh i also had pain in the groin, top of inner thigh to be exact-is this hip flexor damage
oh yeah-moving my leg to the side still very painful especially when lying on the other hip and attempting to lift the left lef to the side
