Every time i sprint i feel sluggish, fat and heavy and can't reach my full sprinting potential. I'm 15 and i don't know my 100m time but when i was 13 i did 40 metres in 4.27 seconds so i estimate that when i was 13 i could run 100m at in about 10.7-11.0 seconds. However even when my teacher timed my 40m time it took me about 5-6 attempts, at first i felt sluggish and then suddenly i felt as light as air and could sprint without difficulty and its the same now especially during football (soccer) matches, at first i feel sluggish but then after about 30 mins of running i feel as light as air and can sprint easily however i get taken off as i look tired prior to being able to sprint fully. Has it got anything to do with the foods i eat and if so what food should i eat, i've read that it helps to eat food about 4-3 hours before a match so that it can digest properly?
