i feel like my brother life is much better than mine and i'm kinda depressed i guess?

my older brother is 14 almost 15 and i'm 12, we are both guys. and i notice he is way better than me now. we used to both lame but every since he was 13, he started getting more friends, and at 14 he even got a decent looking girl. i have friends but not as many as him, he spends way more time on the phone den me, i seen him and his girl kiss for like 2 mintues, and i'm damn, i wish i had a girl to kiss me. but lately we haven't been hanging out as much, because he is better than me and I feel like i'm becoming lame one in the family because my younger brother who is 7 was like "why don't u have a girlfriend like my older brother." I didn't even have nothing to say. and to be honest some of my friends have dates, so what i'm trying to say is, i want a girlfriend rlly bad but i just get shy around them and plus i'm scared they will reject me and ppl will laugh at me.
