No, it's lazy doctoring is what that is...you need to find another doctor.
I had a doctor like that once, but his big thing was smoking. EVERY damn thing was "caused by my smoking" if I jammed my thumb and it hurt...it hurt because I was a smoker. Lazy doctoring really pisses me off. It ought to piss you off too.
