I feel like exercising makes me gain weight.. is this normal and do you think I

should cut back? I am pretty active as it is already during the day and on top of this I briskly walk 4 miles a day and do 35 min of pilates every other day. I am used to eating a small amount and I feel that with my job (that has me on my feet all day) I end up being very hungry if I only eat the portions I am used to.. which in turn makes me crave junk. Would it be enough for someone to only exercise about 2 miles per day in 27 mins and do pilates 35 min every other day w/ weight training twice a week? I know it seems like a stupid question but my friend was basically laughing the other day saying she runs 8 miles a day and therefore this means she is healthier.. I mean we're both the same size so idk
I eat a healthy diet. I'm saying that health food is less calorie dense.. so when I exercise more it doesn't fill me up. I can't eat so much.. it takes too much time to prepare
