I feel awful about what happened with my guy friend :/ what do I say?

Okay, so I have a boyfriend we have been together a little over a month now..
But, today I was hanging out with my guy best friend like normal since my boyfriend was helping his dad out.

-Conversation-
Me: "Skye you know I love you like a brother!"
(He kept saying I was so mean jokingly)
Him: "Don't say that..please." he looked upset.
Me: "Whats wrong?"
Him: "Nothing.." starting to leave.
Me: "Skye I know when you're lying."
Him: "It's just I wanna be..more than a brother.."
(I WAS SPEECHLESS)
Him: "I gotta go." Than he left.

1.) Should I apologize to Skye?
2.) What do I say to him?

I'm happy with my boyfriend and I never knew Skye felt like this...now I feel bad :/
 
Have you ever had feelings for your friend? Well anyways i think you should tell your friend "I am so sorry but I don't like you the way right now, if me and (insert boyfriends name here) ever did break up and never got back together than who knows who I might like than. Please I am so sorry if I hurt your feelings. Please forgive" that's something you can say. I hope that helped!
