I encountered an obstalce in trying to replace my water pump on my 1989 Honda

Accord Lx-I? I am replacing the wtare pump on my 1989 HOnda Accord Lx-i. I can't seem to get past the plastic cover that's in the way (the timing belt cover) There's a little plastic screw-cap over where the last bolt is for me to remove the pump. I just wanna get it off and put the new one on, but this cover is confusing me.

Do I need to remove the entire timing belt cover to remove the water pump?

PLEASE HELP!!!
