i dropped my palm centro in the toilet..?

and i didn't have any rice at the time so i put it in oatmeal for a couple hours..but i was dumb and took it back out of the oatmeal and turned it on, it worked and all but the buttons were messed up and the screen was too. later that day i got some rice and soaked it in the rice for 2 days. now whenever i put the battery in it, the palm screen loads, but after the palm screen is done loading, the screen goes white and the keys blink white and no light. i lost allll my contacts since i didn't sync it to the computer. is there any way to make it work again? thanks
