There's a linkage between the transmission and the fuel throttle body, sometimes its a vacuum hose, and others have an electrical connection. This line allows communication between the two, preventing stall-outs when shifting out from park. Trace this line fro your trans to the fuel system and make sure its not disconnected or damaged somewhere. Good luck

my truck cutss off when i shift gears what could that be only when i start it tought bessides that it runs fine
