To get right to the point I am having a problem with gas consumption. Well my gas gauge is broken but everytime i fill up i reset the trip check. I got gas tonight and it read only 69 miles on my trip check. It took 4 gallons to fill it all the way back up. I have a 16 gallon tank. How many miles/gallon am i getting? Is it normal. Im starting to think about buying a locking gas cap cause it may even be theft. Something just isnt adding up
To add some more details im a fairly descent driver. I rarely gun the engine. It doesnt lack any power whatsoever tho. My engine is a 3.8 liter v6. I do idle my car quite often sometimes 15 minutes or more before driving (since its been so dam cold out). I havent had a tune up in 3 or so years but i have definatly noticed the decrease in gas mileage. Its like someones stealin my gas for real;/
