I drive a 1998 Cadillac Catera. I've been so baffled by all the lights...?

What does the PSI gage mean? It seems to fluctuate more than I am comfortable with not knowing what it is. How does it effect my car and should I be concerned? It never goes to either end, it just fluctuates in the middle quite a bit.
Thank you,

I believe that is your built in tire pressure although oil pressure could be in psi. Either would fluctuate with temperature. If it is air psi the proper inflation would read as cold meaning not when the vehicle is driven at a high rate of speed as on a highway trip. The pressure would fluctuate as outside temperatures fluctuate and also as the tire temperature fluctuates. there is no reason for concern unless you see an abnormal change. It is good that you familiarize yourself with the way it reads so you can recognize a major difference.
The oil pressure usually reads higher on a cold engine because the oil is thicker and pumping harder then settles but might increase as the engine speed increases.
