I downloaded adobe flash half a dozen times this week and restarted etc, yet

it will won't work? it keeps telling me i don't have it downloaded and i need to ..even after i download it

I have helped a ton of people with this problem. Here is the solution I give to them...

It could be 1 of 3 culprits, possibly a combination of 2. Firewall and Anti-Virus software sometimes block things like this. The 3rd possibility could be the Google Toolbar or another toolbar with a pop-up blocker. I am not sure what firewall, anti-virus or toolbar/pop-up blocker you have on your computer. It might be Norton, McAfee, ZoneAlarm, BitDefender, E-Set, BlackIce, Outpost, TrendMicro, Kaspersky or possibly others...
