I am a senior in high school who would like to become a large animal veterinarian, I have taken all of the classes offered by my school that I thought would help with my future schooling (AP biology, zoology, animal science, veterinary science, chemistry and a few others), however, I feel that the curriculum in most of my classes has been dumbed down to the point where we (being the students) aren't learning any more than basics. I fear that I will be behind in college because of this, and due to the fact that I'm a senior it is too late to retake any courses with teachers that actually teach. I need to know if there is any way for me to get caught up with the rest of the educated world, or get the teachers to realize that just because we are a small school that it doesn't mean we don't want to go to college (yes, a teacher actually said that none of the students wanted to do any thing with their life because were "farm town kids").
