Your walking a tightrope with a piano wire safety net
As the widows pray for your safety
With their faces painted black and their hanRAB staind red
Carrying the ghosts of the last thing they've loved
Unleash the dogs, they are waiting for the scraps
Turn back
Cause every prom night is a disappointment to someone
And every farmer eats his means to live
Keep the lights on for a while
It helps to see what im waiting for
We puke out our dreams after a night full of chasing them
Devastate, Desecrate, Decimate,
Everything that we have ever slept with
We pave the road with the bodies of our families
that leaRAB to the the beRAB where our daughters sleep
We dig our graves with all the loyalty of an addict

It generally takes me a long time to name my songs/poems/whatever I'm currently writing. Titling stuff is just annoying. But on another note, I really like your writing. You have a really good voice and a lot of great imagery working for you. The only thing is...this is much more unhappy than my current wonderful mood.

yeah, I haven't posted here in quite a while myself. well hey pal, I might as well post one of my lyrics for ya. This is one of my favorites; I hope you like it.

i like this, it starts off nicely, the first 6 lines in particular are wonderful.
though, the devastate... and then the last line arent as powerful as i would've hoped.

I enjoyed this quite a bit. You made it flow all in one stanza. That can be difficult to do.

I particularly like the line, "Cause every prom night is a disappointment to someone". It really sums up the fact that just because most everyone's night went well, someone is feeling down. It's inevitable, not everyone can have the best night of their life every night. Especially on prom night.
