...the 1st step or something? like that..the other 1 was a first response..well according to the 1st to..and the instructions I read online ( i lost the box ) and it was saying that if you have an up and down line in the circle and then in the control box..its a positive...well according to my 1st to test's I am pregnant..and according to the 1st response..I am not....any advice? my period isnt due till the 27th so its a little early.

I used one of those too a couple years ago when i got pregnant, I waited 5 days after my period was late to take one, just to make sure it really WAS late. I know, it's hard having to wait to find out, but it's best to make sure you are late before taking a test. The results are more believable. If you still get conflicting results, go to your doctor. Good luck

You are far more likely to receive a false negative than a false positive! Even if only one out of three tests shows up positive, you are extremely likely to be pregnant. In the early days, it's easy to get a false negative because there just may not be enough HCG in the urine at that particular time (especially if you'd just urinated recently or it is later in the day).

At this point, you should be calling your doctor and making your first prenatal appointment.
