I have 4 goldfish in a 10 gallon tank. One of the goldfish has been getting these red blotches that look like blood. And it's top and back fins are folded up. But it's two front ones are working fine. I've cleaned the tank and it seems to be doing a bit better. Any ideas? Thanks

get some melafisx for them as they could be a disease a cuts that have been infected. Is they any puffy white growths around the effected area?

I'm not sure what the disease is but I think it might be because your tank is overcrowded, I don't want to sound like one of those people who says "1 goldfish per 20 gallons" but I think really you should only have 1 or 2 goldfish in a 10 gallon. So I think if you keep doing partial water changes daily that could help get rid of whatever the disease is while you decide what to do with treatment. Might be fin rot or ammonia burns from basically too much poo in your tank.

you have 4 gold fish in a 10 gallon tank are you serious each fish needs 20 gallons to live comfortably
treat with one of these
Maracyn TC, Maracyn 2, Triple Sulfa, Trisulfa, TC Tabs, Metronidazole, Flagyl, Hexamit, Kanaplex, or similar gram negative effective drugs. Be sure to remove any activated carbon from the filter and if using Maracyn TC, TC Tabs, Maracyn 2 or any other tetracyclines, be sure to treat with the lights off, as these drugs degrade with exposure to light.
