I don't know what to paint/draw.. i only know how to copy! Help?

i'm still young, but i love art, and i only know how to copy other paintings and drawings. i want to, but dont know how to draw my own ideas! this is a very emotional thing for me because i want to be an artist, but i know im not going to get very far if all i do is recreations of other peoples work...
