I'm 21 now. I went to uni to study science for 3years, I failed a lot of units, lost interest and ended up giving up. This was due to a family break down/divorce over the last few years.
I ended up scoring a good full time as a laboratory technician for a science company, which is the next best thing. However, I feel science may not be my area. Due to my family cicumstances (dad left), I need to work full-time to help pay for my familys rent, bills, etc.
I want to continue studying but maybe just a diploma instead of a uni degree. I was thinking of maybe doing a diploma of accounting, as I'm quite good with numbers and feel it would be a good career to get into.
I was thinking of working as a laboratory technician for a year, while completing my diploma.. and then progressing to a accounting job.
Opinions?
