I don't know how to use quick media converter plz help?

Okay so I am trying to put my music onto an audio disk that will play in my stereo, car, etc., and everytime I try to make the cd I either press the wrong button and it doesnt work. my father said to put it into a WMV but that wont work. Play help and tell me which file to use and thnx ^_^
btw i cannot spell worth crap
