I have a class with a guy that I like and I think he likes me back, but I’m not totally sure. Anyway, homecoming is coming up and I plan on talking to him about it. There was a dance two weeks ago and he didn’t go so I’m guessing he won’t go to homecoming. I plan to ask him if he’s going and if he says no I was thinking about offering him to come with me and my group of friends. But I have no idea if that’s too weird or not since we don’t know each other all that well. We have talked before, just small talk and joked around a bit. We’ve had a few times we have had to work together and we joked around saying that we had “awesome teamwork”. So, basically what I’m asking is would it be weird if I asked him to join me and my friends at homecoming or not?
I don't know him well... would this be weird?
