I've been experiencing weird symptoms lately ever since it finally decided to get hot in the state and now I can barely stand it. I get horrible dizziness, nausea, and sinus pressure headaches right below my eyes in the sinus cavities there. It feels better to lie down but I just started a new job where I'll be standing for eight hours out in the heat at a festival and I'm not sure how I'm going to cope.
I'm certain some of it has to do with my anxiety of starting a new job but it's a little ridiculous how often I've been feeling this way. I can't enjoy anything and I surely cannot focus in my work outside. I've tried many different ways to cope including motrin/tylenol and even mucinex to try to drain some of the sinus pressure which I think could be allergy related but I've never had allergies and the rest of my symptoms don't go along with allergy symptoms.
I assume it's heat sickness since it started when it got hot but I don't know how to combat it. I try to drink water but even then I still get the headaches and it's awful and I don't know what to do about it.
Any suggestions? Should I be seeing a Doctor about it? It's very disruptive and frustrating and I need a better way to cope or I won't last my next 10 days of working outside.
