I don't feel comfortable riding my sport bike wearing gloves, Anybody feel the same way?

i just don't feel secure, like im one with the bike wearing gloves, maybe I feel insecure that my hands will slip off the throttle wearing gloves, I want to become one with the bike, like the bike is part of my body, I want to feel every vibration, every movement.
Riding buddies make fun of me riding gloves, I refuse to wear them even in cold weather, and if my hands get too cold, I just reach my hands down on the hot engine to warm them up, Heated grips, don't like them cause they get too hot .
 
It is all in your mind.

One summer I was wearing flip flops for driving. Then for no reason I started driving barefoot. Then it because very numb to drive with shoes on.

Then the winter came along and I (without thinking) was driving with my winter boots and now I back to driving with my shoes (and don't even think about it).

So some where / some time you got used to riding without gloves. Now it just doens't feel right.

But if you get used to gloves again it will become "normal" again.

P.S. cold fingers are numb and slow to respond to your reflex. danger.!!
