I DO NOT eat SPAM

I'm 10 ounces short of 10 pounds of canned, extruded mammal meat.

If anybody knows of any other brands/flavors of Vienna Sausages and
where to buy them (other than online) I'm all ears.

As for the Luncheon Loaves/Meats, I think I could probably collect
another 20 different kinds/brands of those.

I'm looking for 5 volunteers to taste test Vienna sausages.
Masochists must be willing to eat at least 11 different kinds of
little snausages(tm).

Anybody want to guess what the difference between a luncheon "loaf"
and a lunch "meat" is? I honestly don't know yet, but I have a hunch
which I can verify when I read the ingredients.

And no Sheldon, you cannot marry me for my canned vittles.

I would suspect the "Great Value" brand is probably made by the same
company that makes Spam. Is it a store brand.? If it is, you can
bank on it.

Cool! I never would have thought to look there. $1.60 is kinda
steep, though. Especially for 2.5 ounces. That's $10/pound - USDA
Prime Ribeye prices.

"Great Value" brand is WalMart (even *I* know that).

I compared the ingredients and they were slightly different. But I
can't recall what the difference was.

So what are you saying, now it's has less meat and more.... something
else?

The Walmart brand doesn't have potato starch and only lists "ham".
Hormel has potato starch and contains "pork and ham".

Well, ham is pork.

Used to be drier, less fat/water but was more gelatinized. That was a
very long time ago but that's how I remember it. The potato starch is
supposedly to absorb the gelatin... I like it better with the gelatin.
Perhaps the Walmart brand is more like the original, I'll soon find
out.
