I didn't understand the end of the book, "New Moon"?

In, the "Epilogue-Treaty" part, when Bella comes home from school with Edward, and sees Jacob's motorcycle or something in front of her house and starts crying cause he "betrayed her", what did he do?
i dont get it, please explain.
i know im late reading it, but yeah .. im glad i finished before the movie.

please explain, and thanks in advance :)
 
Jacob promised not to tell her father about the motorcycles, because her father hates them. And when Jacob told him she was upset and said he had betrayed her. He did this because he was upset about Edward coming back.
