i am going to be a freshman in college and live with my disabled grandmother who cannot drive after dark, in the snow, or in the rain. Ive been working three jobs in an attempt to save for a car. I might pick up another one on the side during the school year, but working on minimum wage is getting me nowhere.i need a car to get to college, teach at church on sundays, work, boyfriend, and errands. i also pay for my clothes, food, college, the gas and the insruance when i get the car. so i have a few questions:

1. Is there anywhere to get a good quality car for cheap?
2. is there any place that donates cars?
3. i'm thinking aobut having Safe Auto as my provider, are they a good company?
4. where would the best place to work be (besides like Hooters, or being a stripper etc) that pays a decent amount?
5. do you have any tips for living on your own/money crunchinng/best car for a teen/cheap places to shop?

Thank you to anyone who takes the time to help out! =]
yeah, its all true. haha it kind of sucks. i dont pay for my boyfriend, he drives me to work sometimes or picks me up if i absolutely need a ride. The main reason i would not want to work at hooters is because my boyfriend would not like that and my boobs are not big enough anyways lol. i'm not sure where i could get a job waitressing and i'm going to my community college and i'm not sure there are any jobs to do around there. I'm not 100% sure i am going there also because if i did not get a full ride on finacial aid i cant pay for it. and yeah, my boyfriends mom will occasionally give us coupons and i try to shop at places like Aldi that is chaper. As for insurance, my gma has old people insurance so i cant be put on it. so i'm on my own for everything here.
