I deleted One visa card from paypal,will the next payment go to my new one???????

I got a payment on a old visa credit card through paypal, I sent it back cuz I had canceled the old card so I I deleted it the old one and added a new visa credit card Im waiting on payment and since the old one is deleted, will the payment go to the new one.
An extra question,Is it safe to have a paypal account liked to bank account,If it is how do I link it???
I need answers by today
