i cried during sex? what would you think?

I was having sex with my boyfriend the other day and all of a sudden i felt myself start to cry and couldn't stop so I ended up pushing him off of me. He got off and asked why I was crying. He asked if it hurt and I said no, and he asked if it was because I missed him (I hadn't seen him for a few weeks) but I was just so overwhelmed with emotion that I just cried harder. What do you think he was thinking? What would you think in this situation? He's 21 by the way.
i know he gets a bit jealous...
i was just emotionally overwhelmed, but i want to know what he might be thinking.

First try figuring out what you were thinking/why did you explode that way before trying to figure out what is he thinking
 
maybe the sex i so intense and maybe there is unsecurities in you that made you cry. maybe there's hormonal imbalance that made you all emotional. did you take any hormone contraception?
 
Just tell him what happened. He'll think nothing of it after that. And hey, it's better you crying than him during sex.
