I contested a ticket and did not receive a court hearing date yet. what do i do?

I live in chicago. I got a ticket which i contested. the ticket was issued on 10/26/08 and i haven't received any court hearing date until today. is there some way i can find the status of my paperwork online or on phone? would i be arrested in case that they sent a court date and i did not show up (coz its possible that it might have been lost in the mail).
 
Call and find out even if they sent it to the wrong address they will still issue a warrant...
call the number on the ticket...or the court house in the area where you got the ticket.
