This defense interpreter is close friend of defense and been translating on her own telling judge that to dismiss my case at Pre-trial cause 2nd plaintiff didn't show up. This was her own statement, not from defense. She is playing attorney. Than on final trial she harrashed us outside courtroom after the trial, pressuring on mediation, and not go through court anymore (her friend lost the case).
Than in different lawsuit against the same defense, she came to us when we were waiting outside the courtroom that she would interpret for both of us, However inside the court, she sat down with defense and did not interpret for us, She lied. Trial went on without 2ND interpreter for us. As a result there were misunderstanding & I only received 30% recovery, judge through I already got 70% before but I didn't.
On my 3rd trial, I had the same judge and between trial I informed the judge of interpreter bias interpreting. Interpreter said nothing in courtroom, but outside she had a fight with us. And now the defense told me over the phone that the interpreter will file a lawsuit.
Now I'm scared, I'm disabled with no income for a lawyer.
I had 3 civil case with defense at Arlington County court in VA.
More Info:
I won all of them but in last 2 case I received too little because of that interpreter games she played on me. Now I think I think interpreter want to get back to me as a favor for defense (her friend) They both live in same city and I think talk over the phone. This was not personal interpreter, its was assigned by the court. I heared she went and had talk with my judge after my last trial and than came up with lawsuit (it was the same trial where I informed the judge about her bias interpreating). I think the judge also doesn't like me.
Any suggestion? I'm scared.
