Hey everybody =] I was wondering how difficult Chemistry and Physics are at university level (Chemistry specifically.) - first of all I'm going to give you some details of myself, what course im applying for and what university etc...
I currently live in the United Kingdom - In Scotland/Glasgow (Crackpot Land) - I'm wishing to go to the University of Glasgow to study Chemistry (to try achieve an MChem so long as i get a good honours and then leading on to doctoral level depending if im good enough...)
Overall I know you have to be exceptionally determined in order to pass any degree, be it chemistry, physics, medicine, philosophy, music you name it - but intellect also comes into play and this is what I'm trying to get the nitty gritty of? Do you have to be "intelligent" (not just determined) to do well to achieve an MChem at the University of Glasgow? what is the course content like? such as Organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, etc... what out of all the sub topics of the entire chemistry degree is the most challenging? is there a lot of maths involved? problem solving? basically is the degree solid or not lol - sorry if i'm kind of drifting away from the actual question - i'd just like to know as many opinions as possible =]
thanks for your time reading this bible of a question
p.s im doing 5 highers atm and there hard enough
