I currently have Sony Vegas Pro 9, then I got this bad virus and then it wouldn't open, so I tried to reinstall it but it wouldn't let me register. Now I'm trying to get rid of both and I can't. The "Uninstall" button in the Control Panel is not even there. What I had done was:
Start -> Run -> "regedit" ->
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ (to both Vegas Files and deleted both)
BUT MY LAPTOP SAYS THEY'RE STILL INSTALLED.
Please help. ;___;

ALSO, i had tried using the Control Panel first. It didn't work at all. It would say unregistering, but my laptop would freeze and still keep it. So yeah, I had tried that first.
