I'm doing separate sciences this year for GCSE and I exams this January that accouted for 1/3 of my mark. I achieved A*s in Biology and Physics in my mock exams, and was 2 marks off an A* in Chemistry. My mind went blank in my Biology exam and I just know I've done badly. I don't think I did too well in Chemistry or Physics either, and I'm dreading the results next week. My science teachers say they only let pupils retake if they fail to get a C grade, and I know I haven't done THAT badly. I read on the OCR website that retakes are free if the school notify the exam board 2 weeks after the results come through next week, and even after that, my parents wouldn't mind paying anyway as it's only £8 per exam. What can I do to let the school let me retake? I would love to be a doctor when I'm older and have already got 3 A*s (in maths, french and textiles) and an A in music so I know unis want As and A*s for GCSEs. Retaking would mean so much to me and I won't stop feeling ill until they let me retake.
