I can't sleep more than 2 hours when I changed my diet and started exercising?

I used to sleep good 5 to 6 hours, now I can only sleep 1 to 2 hours. It started when I tried to lose the last 10 lbs that I've been trying to lose for so many years now. I changed my diet to no carbs, strictly meat, veggies, fruits, nuts, caffeine free tea and water. I don't drink milk because I'm allergic to it, I even skip the tea once in a while because I'm thinking it could be the cause of my sleeping disorder. I exercise 3 to 4 times a week, still, it's hard for me to have a good sleep. I am 46 years old and in good shape. I wonder what made it drastically changed.
