I have never really loved doing research. I am an undergrad at a mid-sized private school, and I have the opportunity to do some research with a professor. For some reason, whenever I get myself motivated to go into the lab and work on something, I talk myself out of it. Should I give up the idea of being a research scientist and find something else, or is there some way to get me motivated? Thanks in advance.
