I cant see my ps3 on my tv?

Hi, im having trouble with my hdmi cable, prob going bad but it does work good enough for now. The prob is i reset it by holding down the button but i dont have the composite cables, so its back to factory settings and all i have is an hdmi cable, i dont know how im gonna set it back up
