the main character was a girl described as ugly. she had no eyelashes i think. and there was supposedly a monster kept in the attic of this guy's house, i think everyone called it the thing? and the girl (for some reason i can't remember) is supposed to marry it? and it turns out to not actually be a monster. i can't remember a whole lot more than that. i hope its enough for someone to figure it out. thanks a bunch in advance!
