I can't remember the name of a book?

it is about a girl who was raped by the creepy man who lives down the road. And the whole story is told by her in heaven looking down at her family trying to sovle the mystery of her death. At one point they find her elbow but it doesn't lead to anything. And the man invited her in his underground hut when she was coming home from school and that's where he came on to her.

I just read the book but i stopped half way through and i would really like to finish but i can not seem to remember the name!!
