i remeber it was about the ballet killer or something and his name was brian well anyway kills all these ballerinas at like juliard or some school like that. there is one scene where the main character is in a basement and she has to put her contacts in with spit. also i remember that near the end the guy lets his mom on stage to dance one last time and someone shoots her and then him. the book changes point of view between the main character and the killer.
