i cant receive calls on my vodafone htc wildifire, help?

well i bought a htc wildfire at the beginning of the month but i havent tried calling anyone yet, the phone is ment to be locked to vodafone but i can use my o2 sim card in it so i am any ideas for why i cant recieve calls from anyone? since i can recieve texts im a little confused
