I can't open Adobe Acrobat Reader 9???I'm using Windows 7 Home Pre 64bit...?

I can't open ANY .pdf files...and i cant uninstall and reinstall Acrobat Reader too..whenever I try to uninstall it, it says "Error 1325.TypeSupport is not a valid short file name"
What can I do to make it work again???
Your help is greatly appreciated...Thank you
