...they had no problems.? Is it possible for a gear to be too tight and I am just not strong enough to shift it?
When I took it to the bike shop they road it and told me that sometimes you can downshift to far and then you just have to hit the shifter kind of hard to get it back to the right level. He shifted it fine and when I go to do it, it wont even budge. I am still learning about cycling but it has the downshifter just underneath the brake and then the shifter with your thumb. The bike shop told me everything looked fine and no cables were loose or anything. There is no problem with the back gears. Its only trying to shift the front gear from 1 to 2.
