I can't get my Jeep seat to go back. It's a 93 Grand Cherokee.?

The seat will recline, and go up, down, and forward. It just won't go backwards. It is an automatic seat, and is switch operated. Is there a manual override for this or could I disconnect some wires and manually push it backwards? Please let me know if you have had this problem also.
 
Sounds like you have a bad switch, since the motor that makes it go forward makes it go back. Push on the switch really hard. Or go to the junk yard and get a new one.
