I can't get my Ford Focus Zetec 3dr doors to lock. Anyone know what is wrong?

Hi,

I have a Ford Focus Zetec 2000 and am having trouble getting the doors to lock. The motor locks the doors but then it unlocks straight away. This happens with both the key and the remote.
