I dated a man for years. I always felt possessed by him and controlled. He is amazing in so many ways. But a month ago I decided I needed to take a break and breathe, because I felt I was on a leash. I was fresh out of college and went into the working field ( I got some independence). But then while on my break I become SO EMOTIONALLY involved with another man. I know my ex is still in the picture, he is FIGHTING for this relationship, but I just feel as though I can't get back with him until I have some sort of intimacy ( a kiss atleast) with this other man.
Does that make me a selfish person?
