I cant find this 70s golden oldies r&b song (earth, wind and fire maybe?)?

its a song that has been plauging me...i cant even think of a decent amount of lyrics except that it plays really calm the whole song...but it cuts to a part occassionally that goes: ding ding ding ding-ding di-ding ooooohOooooouuuuooooOoooooOOOOO...ding ding ding ding-ding di-ding ooooooohOoooooouuuuooooOOoooOOOOO....then cuts away to a space guitar for a little bit then cuts to the verse....it sounds sorta like a earth wind a fire song but i might be wrong.

HELP!
