We have a terrier chihuahua mix that is approximately 8 months old. He loves to gnaw and chew on anything he can find (like most puppies do) including my wife. He seems to really like chewing on her hands, feet etc., then when she stops him or won't let him gnaw on her he starts barking and wagging his tail at the same time. When he gets like this he will not let you get anywhere near him and runs when you try to catch him.
What does this mean, and is there a way to prevent it from continuing
