I met this girl in school and we started talking and became friends. I kinda fell for her so I asked her if she wanted to hang out and she agreed and gave me her number. But the school year ended and before we got a chance to. Then, I got wind of some sh*t that was started between her, me and another guy who liked her. Mostly just like gossip and rumors that got her pissed off at me. I never found out for sure what exactly happened but she kept calling and leaving rude messages like she was believing all of it. The guy was my "friend" at the time and band mate.
Well, I went to a different school the next year and never got back to her after those message because I just didn't know how to deal with it at the time and I was really shy.
My question is: after almost two and a half years, should I try to find her on like, facebook or something to rekindle what we had and clear up those things said, or not. It still really bothers me because of how it ended. Me not calling her and letting her get away. I really liked her and I feel like I screwed up by not calling her back because I was "afraid". What should I say? I still live in the same town but go to a different school.
I did find her on facebook, but I cant send her a message and I cant add a personal message in an invite, like I planned on doing to try to get her to want to talk to me. It would be just a bare friend request with no explanation. What do you think I should do? Should I send it? It's all I got, There's no other way to get ahold of her.
